Donation 2 Referrals (D2R) was founded in 2023 by two veterans with a shared mission: to give back to the community that supported them during their time of service. After returning to civilian life, the founders recognized the increasing difficulties families face in affording essential services such as home repairs, moving, and lawn care—services that are often overpriced and out of reach for many.

Driven by their desire to make a meaningful impact, they combined their leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong work ethic to create a platform that connects individuals in need with services they can afford. Inspired by the camaraderie and sense of duty they experienced during their military careers, the founders developed a model based on donations and referrals, ensuring that everyone in the community could access help, regardless of financial circumstance.
